6 Month Contract Opportunity with Intent to Transition Permanently $85,000 + Superannuation - Full-Time Monday to Friday Harrison McMillan is partnering with an established healthcare and community services organisation to appoint a proactive and people-focused Recruitment Advisor to join their People Experience team on an initial six-month contract, with a strong intention to transition into a permanent opportunity. This role is ideal for a recruitment professional who enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships, managing end-to-end recruitment processes, and contributing to an organisation that makes a genuine difference in the community. The Opportunity Working closely with the Talent Partner and broader People Experience team, you will take ownership of recruitment across a diverse frontline workforce. The successful candidate will provide dedicated recruitment support, allowing the wider People team to focus on strategic workforce initiatives, employee experience projects, and talent development programs. Youll partner with hiring managers across metropolitan and regional locations, delivering a positive candidate experience while supporting attraction, onboarding and retention outcomes. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end recruitment from vacancy briefing through to onboarding and commencement. Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and provide practical recruitment advice. Prepare and manage advertisements across a range of sourcing channels. Source, screen and interview candidates across a high-volume frontline portfolio. Coordinate references, compliance requirements and pre-employment checks. Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding journey. Build and maintain talent pools to support ongoing workforce requirements. Support onboarding activities and new starter follow-up to enhance employee experience and retention. Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, candidate experience and attraction strategies. Contribute to broader People Experience initiatives and projects as required. Recruitment Portfolio Recruitment activity will predominantly focus on frontline healthcare, care and support service positions, including: Registered Nurses Enrolled Nurses Personal Care Workers Hospitality and Support Services Staff Cleaning and Environmental Services Staff Other operational and care-focused positions This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing multiple vacancies while building strong relationships with both candidates and stakeholders.
